Career Development Specialist- Real Estate
Location: Syracuse, NY

Howard Hanna is looking for a Career Development Specialist in Eastern NY to build out our educational offerings, increase our marketing technology engagement, and recruit new agents into the real estate industry.  For this critical role on our Career Development team, we are looking for a creative, results driven, and highly motivated professional that enjoys collaborating, innovating, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Agent Onboarding

  • Create uniform onboarding practices for use in Eastern NY market and offices
  • Meet with new recruits after they join HH to go over a comprehensive onboarding process
  • Work with those new agents through the onboarding process
  • Track new agents' participation in education opportunities and required training
  • Assist agents with transferring their business over to HH (marketing, signage, database, listings, etc.)
  • Work with new agents to ensure their tools and technologies are working and in order (email, logins, etc.)
  • Order signs, business cards, marketing materials, etc. for new agents
  • Work with managers on the onboarding process to ensure success

Agent Services & Training

  • Conduct live and virtual training with agents on a variety of topics
  • Train on our tools and technologies
  • Work 1:1 with agents as needed to help with database management, tech issues, etc.
  • Assist managers with weekly training sessions in their offices
  • Train the trainer events within our region
  • Promote Hanna University and ensure agents are utilizing our LMS
  • Engage the agents to increase adoption rates of our tools & technologies

Recruiting

  • Create uniform recruiting packets for managers to use
  • Assist managers in the recruiting process
  • Attend recruiting appointments to showcase the Hanna martech
  • Help manage the recruiting pipeline and prospects
  • Assist managers in setting up drip campaigns and marketing efforts as it pertains to recruiting
  • Manage all online recruiting leads for Eastern NY, coordinate and follow up on appointments
  • Lead career seminar initiative
  • Drive marketing efforts to promote growth in Eastern NY region
  • Showcase and train managers on all recruiting tools in the recruiting drive

  • Proficient in Microsoft products 
  • Quick learner when it comes to technology platforms 
  • Client-focused, proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Someone who embraces and enjoys multi-tasking 
  • Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team 
  • Must have a background and experience in real estate
  • Ability to travel locally throughout Eastern NY on a regular basis
  • May require some domestic travel in the US
