Application Support Analyst
Location: Cleveland, OH

SUMMARY OF JOB:  The Application Support Analyst reports to the Manager of Application Support and will be responsible the second-level support for business systems used by the Accounting Department.  The position will collaborate closely with the Application Support Manager to maintain systems used by the business unit and will assist end-users with daily support, use of systems and creation/maintenance of reports.

DUTIES & RESPONSIB LITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Support and maintain line-of-business systems used by the Accounting Department including Dynamics Great Plains, Profit Power and other critical application systems
  • Coordinate software releases and patches for business systems including testing and distribution of software updates, release notes and training materials and rollout communications to business and other IT teams
  • Collaborate with third-party resources, vendors and other IT teams in support of projects and operations around business systems
  • Responsible for resolution of all second level support issues
  • Create and maintain SSRS reports.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, a related field or 3-5 years of related work experience; accounting or real estate experience preferred
  • 3 or more years of second-level software support experience
  • Experience with creating SSRS and PowerBI Reports.
  • Experience with SSAS data cubes.
  • Experience with SSIS packages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with non-technical business leaders and teams when necessary
  • Comfortable under high-stress and exhibits poise and focus
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
