Do you possess excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
as well as the ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment?
We have an immediate opening for an Escrow Officer to close transactions for agents, buyers and sellers in
accordance with instructions contained in Purchase Agreement and instructions provided by lender, if applicable.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review buyer/seller documents prior to execution
  • Prepare and review estimated settlement statement
  • Discuss (via phone)  disbursement information, etc. with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, etc.
  • Follow up with lender for additional loan requirements, if any
  • Confirm that all loan conditions have been satisfied and obtain lender’s approval to transfer title, as applicable
  • Contact agents, buyers, sellers, etc. to confirm title transfer
  • Issue all disbursement checks
  • Verify that all funds have been received and transaction in in balance prior to releasing final statements and checks
  • Oversee responsibilities of escrow assistant and assist, if necessary
  • Authorize disbursement for “hold” funds
  • Follow up on “hold signature” items as requested

Other knowledge, skills and abilities required are:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years recent settlement experience is preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate!
