Insurance Sales Manager

Howard Hanna Insurance Services is looking for an engaging, motivating Sales Manager who will develop relationships with our sales team, real estate agents, loan officers, clients to meet or exceed sales strategies and market goals.

Our Sales Manager will:

Manage and Oversee Sales Team by giving direction and formulating and fostering execution on company strategy of sales. Crucial to the position is recruiting, developing and retaining sales agents. Manager must understand and implement insurance education and mentorship to sales team.

Engage in business strategy and growth:  Create strong relationships within the Howard Hanna family of companiesunderstand and manage carrier interaction, work to develop marketing campaigns for increased market share, cultivate shared strategy and training with inside sales manager/training; work with General Manager and service team to cultivate environment to address customer concerns and service issues.

  • Interact with customers, agents and other agency team members and outside resources
  • Understanding and implementation of insurance education and mentorship
  • Experience with defined successful sales strategies within the insurance industry and with sales teams
  • Proven long term success coaching and managing a sales team
  • At least 10 years sales experience; preferred Bachelors in Economics, Finance, Business or related field
  • Industry knowledge not only of product, but ability to convey and engage insurance agency strategy
  • Experience with AMS 360/PL Rater/direct rating platforms
  • Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel, knowledge of Profit Power a plus
  • Customer relationship/sales platform/CRM experience
  • Active license to sell PC Required
