Mortgage Operation Support Manager

Responsible for effectively supporting the Operations Manager and the Mortgage Application Manager to develop and implement best practices within Mortgage Loan Operation and Sales. 


  • Function as a resource for training and information for operations and sales
  • On Boarding for all new employees
  • Assist in creating written procedures and training for Operations
  • Assists the Operations Manager and Mortgage Application Manager with projects and daily tasks
  • Takes over the daily tasks if the Operations Manager and Mortgage Application Manager is absent
  • Assists the Operations Manager and Mortgage Application Manager in conducting meetings
  • Maintains knowledge of the Home Mortgage Discloser Act (HMDA)
  • Maintain and demonstrate proficiency with loan software (Mortgage Builder)
  • Work with software providers to utilize LOS to fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedure
  • Assist Mortgage Application manager in Analyzing, preparing, and training for periodic updates to system software, and verify that enhancements are working correctly
  • Serve as a contact person for re-disclosures, loan failing QM/ATR
    assistants in Project Management- I.e. Visionet, ADMS, Priority Path
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as may be directed by the Operations Manager and Mortgage Application Manager


  • Minimum 2 years college or work experience in same field with high school diploma
  • PC literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel, database reporting, and mortgage loan systems
  • Self-motivated individual who is detail oriented and able to multi-tasks
  • Problem Solving- identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
